Since 2003 Christen-Daniels Interiors has been offering full-service interior design throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC to residential and commercial customers. The firm continues to grow in scope and area and projects include work in Tokyo, Toronto, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Philadelphia, and Seattle. Projects range from small consultations including paint, finish, and window treatment designs to larger projects including architectural recommendations and builder planning from the ground up. CDI specializes in kitchen and bathroom remodeling and contractor collaboration to marry form and function. We boast a wide range of styles from contemporary to traditional to rustic and everything in between. CDI carries the best furniture and fabric lines emphasizing quality and style. Carol Christens-Barry, CDI’s owner and lead designer, has been in the design business since 1999. She loves mixing timeless style with current trends for lasting and personal design. Carol has had her work published and designs include Maryland Building Industry Association Awards of Excellence. Carol lives with her husband, Bill, in Ellicott City and in her spare time can be found gardening, traveling, reading the latest design publications, and spending time with friends and family.
